This is my story.
I had my gallbladder removed yesterday and despite this being my first surgery, I’ve never had an easy time with the concept of bed rest.  I’ve been dying to work on my art and found myself thinking of all the time Frida Kahlo spent in bed painting to pass the time.  Needless to say, I’m currently propped up in bed surrounded by art supplies.
